Changes to my studdy programme

Journalism is a career that demands you much time and that is a thing that many teachers don’t understand. If exist a good planning, from the teaches and the students, the performance in this career will be better that actually and the level of this journalists will be higher.

Other point, I am an assistant, from the “editor and reporter” subject, and I have noticed that there are many differences between the different sections of the same subject, so not all students arrive with the same competences the following year. 

Regarding the infrastructure, I would like there to be a newsroom that would serve as a means of online communication, since ICEI currently only has Radio JGM as communication media. In addition to the newsroom, I would like there to be a television signal and exclusive studio where some content created by students was broadcast almost all day long. And, from ICEI, the teachers should teach us more about montage in audiovisual works, because many students do not get to know all the necessary skills to make a good audiovisual product.

And the teaches methods would be better if the strategies were different. For example, if the teachers they made the students investigate on some topic, which will be taught later, the auto-education would be more present and. with that. the independence of the student.

Regarding the work of teachers, I would like to respect the programs of each subject so that all students have the same competences. I would like that journalism in this university to have more subjects of digital journalism and that these will be taught from the first year. Other problem for me was that my generation had the bad luck of not having branches over economy or history, issues that are necessary for the good work of this profession.

El Maule of my heart

Hello, everyone! I’m going to talk about the best holidays of my life. This was in the “Región del Maule”, in the center-south of Chile. That holidays was the best because I ate much food in places like Talca, Linares or Molina. This holidays was in july of 2013, when I was 17 years old, and was seven days in the zone. I went with my mom, my father and my brother, in that time we lived in Coquimbo, in the north of Chile. We enjoyed the different places of the zone like “Las siete tasas”, “las viejas cochinas” or the many forests, rivers and mountains. This trip was the best because -after many many years- I had met for first time the snow. ¡That was amazing! My brother -that year had 14- and I felt a childs when we played with the snow. That was exciting.   I invite you to visit the “Maule”, many people think that is very boring and ugly, but to me that is not true.  It´s very cold sometimes, but you will survive.

My pet

¡Hello! La Chola, my dog, is two years old and she was a gift to my family in 2015 by uncle Roberto. He works in the doghouse of Coquimbo. We have five dogs, one cat, chickens and ducks. But La Chola is special, because this year, in may, La Chola had 9 puppies. All are “quiltros”. La Chola is a big skinny black dog, but four of the nine puppies are White (suspect). She is very very quiet, but this nine dogs are a disaster. The last weekend they eat a piece of the bed of my father -yes, the bed- and usually steal food or clothes from my neighour. Oh god. The dogs are the best of the world. I love all the dogs. I think that they are more faithful that another animal or people. Always that I visit Coquimbo I play with my dogs, it is like therapeutic.  We go to run on the way. I like to have a dog in Santiago, but my aparment don’t have space for that. Maybe I will have a porcupine in the future…

Dreamland: Portugal

I have always dreamt visit Europe. My family have a little blood link with Poland, but my dream to visit Portugal.
